Hi greyowl…

If you are willing to pay $45, a friend of mine, who is an avid photographer, thinks highly of this program.

God bless!

I’ve been using Faststone for a few years now - lightweight, very fast, lots of options - always within hands-reach of my Windows Picture and Fax viewer and my Picasa.

http://www.faststone.org/

Edit - Here’s a little something with a wider range of features and uses, usual cost $35 but today for free, for anybody who might be following this thread.

THE BEST FREE IMAGE/PHOTO SOFTWARES ARE:

GIMP - gimp.org

Paint.NET - dotpdn.com

Picasa (I use it) - picasa.google.com

Windows Live Photo Gallery
(I use it) - download.live.com/photogallery

Inkscape - inkscape.org

Just try all of them and choose what you like the most.

Hello greyowl,

I use faststone, picasa. although there are many differences in the two products, fastone is good for editing. picasa is good for managing. at least for me.
