Never use two or more antivirus in the same time.
CCleaner simply deletes not needed files from your HD.
You don’t say what your OS is as that too could be an issue.
There are some topics in the General forum about anti-spyware (one link by Tech) and there are many that will work with avast. What you have to decide is are you prepared/able to pay or are you looking at free options as that will restrict your choice. You also have to decide if you want resident protection (there are even fewer free programs offering that) or will on-demand do.
If using winXP or Vista SUPERantispyware On-Demand only in free version. Or Spyware Terminator Resident scanner (if you use this don’t install the toolbar or crawler or the anti-virus module). Or a-Squared free On-Demand only with free version(if using win98/ME).
