At last, here’s the beta 2. It is much better than beta 1 (countless number of bugs was fixed) so I recommend everyone to go for it asap… 
One (major) caveat: update from beta-1 to beta-2 does not work. Sorry (I hope you can live with that). For more info, please see the website or the readme file.

Do we also need to remove the SQL database and start it fresh as well?
Unfortunately - yes.
In fact, that’s the only thing that cannot be updated. The files are OK but the database structure changed a lot and we’d have to write migration tools from the beta-1 format - which we found quite time-consuming and probably not really needed anyway… (I mean something you’ll probably tolerate since it was a beta-1 release)…
