BETA-2C expiration date

I noticed the following text at the bottom of the download page:

This beta expires on July 31, 2003. It is likely that this is the last beta and by this date, a release version of the product will be publicly available. :frowning:

I really like to try Avast on my Redhat 8 system…is that still possible?

No worries, the BETA will be available till the final release.

There may be one final BETA during the next week or two (with SMTP stuff for mail integration), and release should be in August.

Updated avast! engine for LINUX which expire on 31th August 2003 has been relased.
