In the Netherlands three Dutch hackers were arrested for creating a botnet of 100.000 hacked computers, mainly PC’s and servers, comprising a net of zombie computers running W32.Toxbot, a key-logging virus. This Toxbot virus was an ever changing creation of the virus-makers to evade AV-programs to detect it. This was the biggest botnet ever dismantled by Dutch authorities, advised by members of the National High Tech Crime Center.
