Bit of over-moderation in forum

I posted a note yesterday about Web Shield. I included a reference to three other reports of the same problem for the day plus a reference to other notes that I’ve posted whenever this issue occurs. I then went to the other reports and linked them back to my report.

My goal is to get Avast to recognize that this is a recurring issue, not a one-off anomaly, and that it doesn’t just happen to me.
Further I’m verifying for others reporting this, and those trying to help them, that they are not the only ones with the problem, and that there is a recognized solution to the problem.

But today I find a moderator has removed my response in the other threads which points back to mine. So people who have the problem may continue to wonder what the issue is when I’ve already published a resolution.

I understand that the moderator saw this as unnecessary over-broadcasting of data but when put into context here I hope they’ll recognize the purpose, and consider these dynamics in the future.

Didn’t touch your post but,Disabling the Websield isn’t a solution. It’s an invitation to an infection.
