Bitdefender 8 Free Edition expired solution

I spent the morning trying to find out a way to fix my bitdefender Free edition. It said it was expired and I couldn’t download any updates. Of course I didn’t want to buy it, but couldn’t find any other way to get it to work. I finally found an answer on the Bitdefender website, but it took quite a while.
Here is the link for anyone else who has an expired bitdefender product.

Hey RoRo…Avast! is my No.1 A/V for @the last four years and won’t have any other resident a/v program on my computer but i also use Trend Micro’s HouseCall Online Scanner and Kaspersky A/V Online Scanner(which both being online scanners don’t conflict with Avast!)as easy back-up and piece of mind…not every program can catch “EVERYTHING”…How many of us out there have ONLY 1 anti-spyware program on our computer…I bet you have at least 2 or 3??? ???
