I can load the web browser on my main monitor. i then drag it over to my second one and its fine. when i click the maximize button and it goes full screen the web browser turns black and i can not see anything. This just started a few days ago. I can hover around the dark screen and see the links at the bottom but i can not see the web page. everything else runs fine on the second screen.
Hi,
thanks for report
- What OS do you have?
- Do you use the browser in normal mode or bank mode?
- What version of the browser do you have?
- Can you attach a screenshot?
Thank you
I think it is also useful to mention the graphics card and display driver version if the OS is Windows 10 as there are many reports of problem with the graphics on W10.
yes,
I recommend to perform windows update and update your graphic card driver too.
Im using windows 10
I run it in normal mode when this happens
I have 1.51.2220.62 i think i see these in the avast files but done know where else to find this. the avast program doesn’t show th build number
My drivers for windows and my video card are up to date as well.
I have the 375.70 geforce driver for my GPU
I would post a screen shot but all you would see is a black screen.
357.70 are not the latest drivers.

I’m not saying that hotfix will solve the problem, but install it and check.
Will do. I ran the Geforce program and it said they were the latest but i will go to the link and grab them
I ran the update but it didnt help. Still getting complete black screen when i maximize the browser on my second monitor. :‘( :’( stinks because i cant multi-task in full screens anymore
