I turn on the pc today and my avast is all black, I already try repair nad unistall, but keep the interface all black
Hi,
I have the same problem since today, it’s the same situation with Avast VPN but not with Avast cleanup and antitrack.
I have the same problem. When I open the user interface its actually transparent but after minimized its black. All the notifications are also black.
I ran repair, uninstalled, reinstalled. I then ran avastclear and reinstalled, but no change.
I installed an old version and then the user interface/notifications are back to normal.
Unfortuneately the version gets updated immediately and the user interface is broken again.
I have the same problem. The error occurred after the windows update.
Can you please share your OS version and Avast version (release or beta)?
Hi, of course :
- OS version : Windows 10 Family (version 22H2)
- Avast version : 2.1.92.0 (downloaded yesterday on the website of Avast)
The latest avast antivirus Program version is 23.3.6058 released on April 4th, 2023. So I’m not sure where you are getting version number from, What product is it for ?
See this topic on the latest Avast antivirus program releases (including download links) https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=323225.msg1702911#msg1702911
2.1.92.0 - is version shown in setup file properties, it is ok.
We updated CEF version in the new Avast version, it will be related. Unfortunately we are still not able to induce it, it can be connected to outdated graphic drivers. Could you please try to update graphic driver and reboot your machine?
I’m running Windows 11 Home 22000.1817 (21H2) and it is Avast version 23.3.6058 that doesnt work due to black user interface and notifications.
My graphics card drivers (Nvidia GeForce GTX1060) are updated to version 531.41.
When I install Avast version 23.2.6053 everthing works fine except that it wants to update to 23.3.6058 immediately.
Hello, FYI: at least two support tickets related to black UI were resolved by reinstalling the GPU driver.
