I had read that this was a problem with older versions as well.
I tried Outlook 2007 (SP2) and the bodies of outgoing emails were always blank until I disabled the Avast “mail shield” features. Please notify when the bug has been corrected, thank you!
I’m having this exact same problem too, just started today. Never had any problems with Avast before, so i’m not sure what’s gone wrong. Anyone aware of any workarounds?
I just disabled the email scanning altogether, but I was hitting an Exchange server and not using IMAP or POP3 with the Outlook client. For non-Exchange related scanning, perhaps this link below may be of assistance, but its more of a general Outlook client assistance with scanning…
