It’s hard for me to believe that Avast cannot fix a problem that they’ve been having since at least 2019. I have read through all of the posts, reinstalling, clean uninstall and reinstall, rebooting, etc. None of these have worked, the problem always comes back. I have also tried turning hardware acceleration off.
Exactly what happens is this, if I type something into the address bar, either it autofills or I type the URL, 75% of the time the page will not load. The URL shows in the address bar but it is a blank, white page. If I click on a bookmark or a link, that will usually work.
No one has found a solid fix for this? I have the most up to date version of Secure Browser, it is the free version.
