Blocked Ransomeware.

Has anyone so far been attacked by this? I have twice now. First time didn’t have avast loaded and had to reinstall my windows. The second time I was attacked I had avast loaded (Free Version) and it blocked it somewhat… gave me enough time to shut my PC down and save myself a headache. Twitter links are sources of fishing links for the spyware, as well as, Facebook, and looking up images on the internet. I advise everyone to avoid needless web searches until this threat is neutralized. I am thankful for avast, now more then ever.

The world of malware is not static, new versions are released evry day to avoid detection

Best thing to do is back up personal files as you make or change them on media not always connected to your system.
