I have Avast 2014.9.0.2018 on Win XP Pro. My computer is CLEAN.

I’m getting this message when trying to send POP3 Verizon email in Mozilla Thunderbird. 995 is the correct port for incoming mail, and it’s been used by Vz for at least 2 years. I keep clicking the bottom 2 buttons, but the error is still there. I have to turn off Avast to open mail. When I reopen Thunderbird, the message comes back, so the exception is not being stored. I’ve looked through the email settings, but i don’t know how to make Avast less sensitive.
