It starts as soon as I open the Avast Secure Browser and start using it as usual. I think, though it’s not a new issue in windows 10 as many others apps struggle with this. It appears to be frequent in cases in which the user uses more than 1 monitor actively connected with a different resolution or just a different screen size. In my case, it’s both of them.
I happen to give up using this browser at least until this gets fixed. I’m sure it does not happen in other avast programs but I can’t stand having issues to read in my favourite navigator. Sadly, I’m going back to Chrome for a while but at least I can use Avast Secure Browser in my other computer (does not have an additional monitor connected). I’m adding a pic of the problem. The right one is Avast’s and the left one just Chrome. https://imgur.com/LcVQAgg

Thank you. I added that now ![]()
Fausto16,
If you run both monitors using Avast Secure Browser you will get the window on the left and the original on the first monitor will be clear and readable as expected? But not on the second monitor and it will appear as in right window?
No issue using Chrome; both monitors are clear and readable?
Reported to Avast.
Fausto16,
In our office we use 2 (sometimes 3) monitors and I can say I have never seen something like you.
- Please could you place the chrome window to your right monitor and attach screenshot of it?
- the image quality is not very high but it seems that the whole window frame is blured (I mean the buttons for closing, minimizing the browser etc.), is it true?
- what is your resolution and DPI settings?
Thanks
Can confirm that this is still an issue in 2023.
Have one external monitor running at 4k (via DSR) and a laptop monitor being 1080p. The blur occurs when the focus shifts from one tab on one screen to another tab on the other screen.
