boot scan detects trojans which cannot be removed...JS:BProtect-A, JS:BProtect-C

Folks,
These bad actors are detected only with a boot scan, but Avast cannot remove them. I would like to make them gone please :slight_smile:
JS:BProtect-A
JS:BProtect-C
Win32:Adware-BRS

I have attached results from Farbar Recovery Scan if that will help (seen that recommended several times).

Let me know if I need to provide more info!

Thanks…Ron <><

Also Malwarebytes and aswMBR logs. https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0

I’m on it … Be right back.

@kk1l
This is a business computer right?

A mix I guess. Never put much thought to it. My wife does some bookkeeping work with it. Mostly personal.

kk1l, there are enough business programs on board as:
Intuit Entitlement Client, MarketResearch, ProSeries Basic Edition, QuickBooks Pro, LogMeIn and some Bandwidth Measurement Tool …etc

My personal policy is not to provide assistance further from home users.

Magna86,

There are some business programs as my wife is a book keeper between homeschooling and being a mom. The monitor programs I have on board as I do on all the computers in the house. Just a computer geek husband IT support taking care of stuff on the network at home. In any case I was reporting this as a “hey the program would not remove these files” bug more than a “hey fix my computer for me”. I do appreciate the fast response and the knowledge here.
