Hi,
I just got a new desktop running windows Vista and when I run avast the “boot scan option” is greyed out. I have read about this issue on older OS. I have Avast running on my laptop that has vista with no problem. Any ideas?
There is no Boot scan if you have 64bit OS…
Yet…
It is being worked on…to possibly have it available in version 5.1 IIRC
Hi All. I just posted this question previously. Avast is supposed to have 64 bit support so why does it not provide boot scans? Can I get a boot scan program from Avast. I did a scan already and caught two bugs…one trojan and one worm I believe it was. I would like to schedule a boot scan. Thing is I’m not sure I need it. I don’t use pirated software and I have my boot settings on the one drive.
Thanks
Jones
