boot time scan help

So I ran a full system scan yesterday then when I went to bed I decided to do a boot time scan. I get up this morning and my computer isn’t recognizing that I have a monitor connected. The tower boots up, I have an external wifi connected and that is even lighting up like the tower is working. I had zero issues like this before the scans… I only ran the scans because I was trying to clean up the computer. Nothing major was going on before the boot scan… what the he’ll did avast do to my computer and how do I fix it?

Please be advised, that the Boot-time scan is an advanced and purposeful feature designed to be used only when there’s something bad going on the system, and usually takes some time before it finishes. That's why it cannot be scheduled to run every time the computer starts, but as needed only.

hmmm ..... ???

You could look at the log file(s).

But it doesn’t have to be caused by something avast has done.
It can be a hardware failure as well.
