Boot time scan- java:malware-gen

I need some help here. It has [trj] next to it. I went ahead and deleted it, but how did I get this and why didn’t a normal scan detect it? Its located appdata\locallow\sun\java\deployment\cache\6.0\26\7f274f1a-10fd8b19|>n.class
Also it detected a few other expls aswell

but how did I get this and why didn't a normal scan detect it?
bc they are in a location not scanned by quick/full ;)

anyway seems to be in java cache

How do I clear the Java cache?

http://www.java.com/en/download/help/plugin_cache.xml

do you have latest java version?

I do not have the latest java version. Also, im writing this from my phone as the bootime scan is still running
Also is my computer safe after this? The scan also said a few of my files were corrupted.

I updated to the latest java version now, so am I good now? Kind of don’t wanna waste 15 more minutes scanning even though I’m almost 100% positive my computers is clean now.

The scan also said a few of my files were corrupted.
files that can not be scanned are just that, it does not mean they are infected avast is just giving you a scan error report and the reason why

did you empty java cache?

recomended extra scanner www.malwarebytes.org

I emptied the cache and I already have Malwarebytes installed.

remeber to update it before you use it…as they have about 10 updates a day

run quick scan…if anything is found you may post it here

Update Malwarebytes, correct? Or Java?

Ill run a quick scan right now.
