Boot-time scan now asks to download

Hello,

My avast version is 12.1.2272 (build 12.1.3076.6)

Boot-time scan now asks to download

Now when I select Boot-time scan I get the pop-up saying a 40 MB download is required …
I just want to verify it is actually Avast . not a popup virus of some sort??

Yes that is how it is now.
The change happened in latest version 12.1.2272.

I have down a Boot scan earlier and had the 40 MB download.
