Boot-time scan

Hi

I reinstalled avast free today from the avast website. During the installation process it asked whether I wished to schedule a boot-time scan to run on restarting my PC. I’ve never noticed that before when installing avast. Is that something new?

Nothing was detected and I then entered my licence key.
