Hi.
I’ve been trying to delete BProtect from my PC, but nothing seems to work.
It only shows up when Avast does a Boot Scan. Theyr’re 5 files, or at least I think they are files. Avast recognize them as Trojans. They seem to be in a Zip at the directory C:\Users\Me\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IES\S20U3R6W\pack[1].7z The directory is hidden, and doesn’t show if I choose the option of showing hidden directories. I’m running Win 8 64 bits (not 8.1)
MBAM and OTL logs are atached, i’ve followed “What to do if a file is infected?” topic.
Sorry for my bad english.
C:\Users\Me\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IES\S20U3R6W\pack[1].7z

TFC-cleaner http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/files/file/187-tfc-temp-file-cleaner-by-oldtimer/
Actually your english is quite good. What’s your native language?
Hi mashida,
I’ve look at posted logs. OTL doesn’t show the malware presence. Yes, recommendation to clean all temp files using TFC.
MBAM hasn’t detect the malware, but just some leftovers in RecycleBin and in Desktop\sdadsa\Content.IE5 folder some setup as PUP. They should be removed.
If you wish, I can go deeper with analysis but I think there is no need for that.
Plus, to say that Windows 8 is outdated system. You should allow WUP (windows update) to download and install ‘Windows 8.1 Update’. You may also done that via Windows Store. Installation of 8.1 system is free and it’s a lot userfrendly and it has a lot of under the hood improvements. You should start WUP and allow the installation as ‘Windows 8.1 U.’ is awesome.
