My Avast Premium Security installation reverted to Avast Free Antiivirus quite on its own twice yesterday and today. I “switched subscriptions” from the Avast Free GUI and (apparently) restored Avast Premium yesterday, only to find it reverted to Free again today. The Premium subscriptions shows something like 194 days remaining on my subscription. I’ve had no emails from Avast at all recently, as I would expect were my subscription to expire or be changed by Avast.
Has my installation been breached?
What should I do?
I’ve alerted Avast.
