my pc is infected with brontok.a virus pl tell me how to get rid of it

  • What OS are you using? is it up to date?
  • What avast! version and VPS file (virus database) number, e.g. 0436-4 (see about avast!)
  • What was the file name, where was it found
    example (C:\windows\system32\infected-file-name.xxx)?
  • What actions have you taken to try and resolve the problem?

Hi akeenaaz,

as polonus said, there is varios of brontok worm, first you must know the brontok version, you can found it on folder “my document\my picture” then open the about.brontok html file.

after that install avast antivirus ;D

after installation and vps updates please do the boot scan and delete all of virus file.
