Browser addon with "poor reputation"

Hi.
I keep getting a message from Avast Browser Cleanup saying that a Firefox add-on called “Clip to OneNote” has a poor reputation and wants me to remove it. I have searched for more information on the avast web site and in this forum but cannot find anything to back up this assertion.
Can anyone enlighten me on this? Who decides if something has a “poor reputation” and where is this information stored? Do they give any reasons?
Thanks for an insights.

Clip to One Note is a Microsoft Office extension if im not mistaken.

I dont know why Avast wants to remove it.

upload and test the file at one of these places www.virustotal.com / www.metascan-online.com / www.jotti.org if scanned before, click rescan
you may post link to scan result here

Thanks Eddy.
It seems clear that I don’t have to worry as the message is misleading.

Well, the message is not misleading but many people read it wrong or do not understand it.
Bad reputation is not the same as a bad add-on.

It is good to see that you did the right thing, namely asking here before doing anything.

If there is anything else you want to know, or if you run into a problem…
You know how to find this webboard.

What could have led to this status may be described here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2010-onenote/firefox-issue-send-to-onenote-clip-for-firefox/8d37e8d9-c0fc-4836-a893-9cf5d5b5180e
Some elements of page to the clip are not included!
The best reply should come from the developer of the extension. Data leaks are the main issue for extension security reputation. There should be more static application security testing (SAST) and dynamic application security testing (DAST).
