Ok, I don’t know what’s happened here but for some reason, I cannot access the internet via my browser and none of the eMail’s load anything but text whenever Avast is running.
I tried shutting down one provider at a time to see which one might be blocking the connection but it didn’t work. I shut it down completely, everything works fine.
Any thoughts as to what may be causing this problem?
The error I get it is , “Connection Terminated”.
Quick update.
If I stop (as opposed to pause) the webshield feature I can access the web.
Check your firewall, make sure webshield has internet access.
Do you or did you have another anti virus program installed? What was it and how did you remove it.
Your email has to make Web connections to display most emails - so the problem of displaying your mail and your Internet browsing probably have a common cause.
As mentioned you will need to make sure that ashWebSv.exe is permitted access by your firewall.
