Ok, I don’t know what’s happened here but for some reason, I cannot access the internet via my browser and none of the eMail’s load anything but text whenever Avast is running.
I tried shutting down one provider at a time to see which one might be blocking the connection but it didn’t work. I shut it down completely, everything works fine.
Any thoughts as to what may be causing this problem?
Your email has to make Web connections to display most emails - so the problem of displaying your mail and your Internet browsing probably have a common cause.
As mentioned you will need to make sure that ashWebSv.exe is permitted access by your firewall.
