The test will begin 15 second after the page is loaded
Make sure you have flash installed and enabled.
No thanks, that’s what NoScript is for
Why would you even want to make your browser crash. As Scott says we take precautions to try and prevent this type of thing in the form of firefox and noscript.
+1 ;D
This is actually a browser crash test.
Maybe I should change the topic title
How boring!
I watched it count to 0 then stop with Browser Defender indicating a malicious Chinese (oriental) site.
Thats weird. The test page is the same link as the count down page
ei, can i ask if avast is like avira that should be updated regularly?
i need answers right away, please…
Hi Jamar379, welcome to the board. I believe you have started a separate thread and it is not nice if you hijack other people thread.
Anyway for your question, if you refer to virus defination update, all antivirus need to update its virus defination regularly since the virus created very minutes. :-\ The more often update more decent a product.
That is not always true.An antivirus product can update 20 times a day but if each update only contains the signature for only 1 maware,it will perform worse then antivirus that updates once a day with signatures of various malware.
Sandboxed Firefox 3.5.2.
Counted down to zero, page went white, waiting.
Firefox prompt to the effect “A script on page is making firefox run slowly,
do you want to abort script?”
Hit “no”
More waiting,tabs unresponsive,same Slow script message,clicked “yes”
Unresponsive,tried to close browser,Windows Prompt:“Program not Responding”
Killed Firefox with task manager, emptied Sandbox.
I guess that is a fail?
Yes firefox failed the test. One thing I found that is odd is that ie8 also failed.I thought it will pass since each tab is a different process
