salute i am new to this community, but possibly you could help me with a complication i’m seeing. i have win7 x64 and ff. my error is that last time when i try to respond to a discussion, my browser crashed? somebody knows what this is ? any help would be sweet!

While I am not a FF user, there are many here who are and someone shoulf be able to help.
One thing you can do is check the Event Viewer (or the equivalent in W7) and see if there is anything relevant listed there.
What version of FF are you using? v.3.6.13 is the latest (non-beta) version. FF could have crashed for a number of reasons.
If this a problem that happens a lot, I would enable the crash report feature in FF: Tools > Options > General > Submit Crash Reports.
Is FF working fine for you otherwise? Are you being redirected (sent elsewhere) when you browse?
What add-on’s do you have in FF? Have you checked to see if they are up to date: Tools > Add-on’s > Find Updates.
As a last thought, sometimes FF just crashes for some unknown reason. It can be quite frustrating, I know because I’ve been there too. Sometimes it has nothing to do with your system or something you did…it just happens. 
But if it continually happens, you need to find out what is causing it.
