Browser Scan hangs at 75%

Running smart scan, Avast! hits 75% doing the browser scan, then stops progressing.

Checked for updates - Definitions and program both say they are current.
Browser turned off doesn’t change the result.
Rebooting doesn’t change the result.
The browser scan hits 75% and hangs. Left it running a couple of hours and didn’t budge.

Any ideas/help would be appreciated!

UPDATE:

Restarted in Safe Mode w/Networking > Opened Control Panel > Programs and Features > Repaired Avast!.

Rebooted to normal start > Smart Scan > Scan completed, no issues found. :smiley:
