When performing a new browser test: http://bcheck.scanit.be/bcheck/ the avast WebShield triggered an alarm for JS-CVE-2006-1359.Gen[trj]. It is the fourth scan in the series. Should this be triggered or is it a false generic alarm?
I would say it is a bad detection, firstly based on the name I would think that the JS- is for javascript and web shield doesn’t use javascript. Unless they are having a whinge about the http redirect to a localhost port, which again is pretty poor.
