Hi,
Since the latest installation of Avast Internet Security every time I open my browser I get the Avast Web Security screen showing, why is that?
It just offers the range of protection and allows me to make changes that I do not want to do as I am happy with it as it is!
Can I turn that off somehow without disabling the Avast protection please?
Thanks,
Arnak

Hi,
Yes it opens 2 tabs, one blank as it should be and one for avast.
I can’t see that anywhere in browser settings?
It did not do this before avast was installed…!

Hi,
Thanks for the replies.
Both browser, Explorer and Firefox.
My cookies have always been set to clear on closing but as some of the folks in the other thread have said it does not work for all users, including me.
No to worry as there are so many posts regarding ths issue I assume it will get fixed in a future release.
Thanks for all your help.
