Way back, I was a big fan of the Netscape Browser, but eventually IE gobbled that experience up and here I am. I’ve been thinking maybe I should expand my horizons again and try something else. I hear Foxfire is good but will I be any safer using that browser or will I be giving something up.
Maybe there is something better?

Firefox is less suceptable to adware and spyware because it doesn’t have activeX, Browser Helper Objects (BHOs) that can be installed without your knowledge and it is not an integral part of the OS, so if something gets compromises or exploits your browser it hasn’t also compromised your OS like IE.
There are a number of other browsers that are not based on the IE core, but even IE based browsers like Green browser (Bobs favourite) and Avant browser (my secondary browser) have an easier interface when it comes to security settings.
[b]Hi and welcome. I’m a big fan of FireFox and IE. But however I use Maxthon an IE based browser but now going back to Foxie a IE Toolbar but acts like FireFox in IE! I find it great and here’s a link to it. Try it out and see how it is.
