BSOD and fix seems to have been disable Avast Antivirus

Greetings,
I just spent the last two days with Windows support to find out why, over the past 5 days, my computer does not load Windows (stuck on BSOD) after coming out of Hibernate.

They ran a number of tests including a Windows refresh, memory health check etc etc.

Only until they disabled the Avast Antivirus (free) did the problem get solved!

So, is anyone here familiar with this ‘problem’? I have been using Avast Antivirus for years with no problems.

P.S. I am not a total cheapskate I HAVE and continue to, purchase some Avast products.
