BSOD: aswtdi.sys ; UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP

Reporting in to submit a problem I have been having on my computer.
I am running 64bit Win 7 pro but every time I play Audiosurf I somehow end up with a bsod caused by aswtdi.sys

The moments it happens are not random, once it was while having audiosurf minimized, which glitches a lot I know that. But the second time was exactly when a round ended.

I am running Avast 6.0.1203 everything is updated.

crash dump file: C:\Windows\memory.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: aswtdi.sys (aswTdi+0x11A8)
Bugcheck code: 0x7F (0x8, 0x80050031, 0x6F8, 0xFFFFF80002A57E88)
Error: UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP
file path: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\aswtdi.sys
product: avast! Antivirus System
company: AVAST Software
description: avast! TDI Filter Driver
Bug check description: This bug check indicates that the Intel CPU generated a trap and the kernel failed to catch this trap.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: aswtdi.sys (avast! TDI Filter Driver, AVAST Software).
Google query: aswtdi.sys AVAST Software UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP

I had heard about Avast 6.0 having trouble with Win 7 64bit because of an old network driver framework.
I wanted to know how far along you guys are with this, because if this continues I am switching AV.

Of course I don’t really know if it is the same problem, so …

It would be useful to follow the same instructions from that topic, upload a zip with a unique name (username-date-1.zip or similar), including the dump and a text file with user name and a mention of this, your topic ( topic=82312.0 ).

Then come back to this, your topic, and post the complete name of the zip. If you don’t post here the name of the zip, then the zip won’t be checked by anyone.
