Hallo Asyn,

habe versucht der Anleitung zu folgen - aber…

Die Installation mit dem offline Installer endet mit BSOD mit anschließendem Restart, das ganze als Loop bis Windows meint hier ist was nicht in Ordnung - dann im abgesicherten Modus gestartet.
Die Support datei hab ich im abgesicherten Modus erstellt - ob das sinnvoll ist weiß ich nicht, ging aber nicht anders.

Anschließend im abgesicherten Modus AVAST deinstalliert mit avastclear und neu gestartet.

Versucht die aktuelle Beta zu installieren - BSOD mit Restart. Dann allerdings kein Loop, aber AVAST kann nicht gestartet werden. Das erstellen der Supportdatei mit avastsupport schlägt fehl mit Programmabbruch.

Außer wieder zurück zum Defender und auf neue Version von AVAST hoffen fällt mir nichts weiter ein.

AVAST hat aber offensichtlich mit den denaktuellen Updates von WIN10 ein großes Kompatibilitätsproblem.

It is not possible to determine problem from the crash dump attached to support ticket. To solve pool corruption, driver verifier is usually needed. Please activate (using verifier.exe) at least “Special pool” and “Pool tracking” for all avast drivers (asw*.sys). Reboot is required after modifying driver verifier settings. Then, try to reproduce the issue again and please provide a new crash dump file.

I’ve tried a fresh Install with actual Offline Installer AVAST Free.

BOSD (Bad Pool Header) at End of Install - automatic Reboot.
Crash dump file created without verifier.exe.

All AVAST Modules are off and can’t be started.

Iactivated “Special Pool” and “Pool Tracking” and reboot.
Crash dump file created.

All AVAST Modules are off and can’t be started.

Defender is working.

:(Leider ist das Problem nach wie vor nicht gelöst. Die Installation läuft zwar durch, aber im weiteren Verlauf taucht der Fehler wieder auf. Selbst die Deinstallation bricht mit dem BSOD ab.

In diesem Zustand ist AVAST für mich leider nicht zu gebrauchen.
Ich hoffe, das der Fehler bald beseitigt wird.

Can you please try to install the product using customized installation: without anti ransomware/behavior shield/real site/ web shield? We suspect aswStm.sys filtering is responsible for this, just need one confirmation to be sure. In case of BSOD, can you please provide the dump again?

hab gerade getestet.

AVAST minimal installiert, dann anschließend weitere Module aktiviert.

Antivirus aktiv - OK
Verhaltensschutz - OK
Mail-Schutz - OK
Web-Schutz - BSOD bei Test mit Firefox

Es scheint tatsächlich an aswStm.sys verantwortlich zu sein, da dieser Treiber erst mit dem Webschutz installiert wird.

Dump habe ich mit avastsupport.exe hochgeladen: VGAWA

Hoffe, das die Informationen helfen - auch im Hinblick auf das nächste große Win 10 Update in diesem Herbst.

The issue is caused by incompatibility between Free Download Manager (WinDivert64.sys) and Avast stream filtering driver (aswStm.sys). Please uninstall Free Download Manager before we figure out which driver is to blame for this.

i can confirm, the BSOD is caused by incompatibility between avast and Free Download Manager.

I deinstalled Free Download Manager and installed Avast AV NITRO Update - Finale Version [17.6.2310] from scratch.
No BSOD with Webshield activated. ;D

It seems Free Download Manager is also updated in August, so the BSOD issue is created.
AVAST and Free Download Manager was in use for many months without this issue.
