logos, looking at that screenshot - it was taken from VMware; since VMware didn’t support ACPI 2.x (which is required by Win8), then this OS will crash – you can use the latest VMware workstation 8.0, which should be Win8 compatible…
okay I didn’t even bother trying to find out in what conditions it happened to be honest, I just found the new bsod design funny. But thanks for the additional info about VMware compatibility.
