Hello there,
Just received a BSOD on aswSnx.sys. Should I upload the minidump?
Running W7 SP1 x64, avast! Free 6.0.1289 (with only File System shield installed). I was not doing anything special at the time of the BSOD.
Hello there,

Running W7 SP1 x64, avast! Free 6.0.1289 (with only File System shield installed). I was not doing anything special at the time of the BSOD.
Please, go to folder \windows\minidump and send the newest (recent) .mdmp files for analysis.
There is also C:\Windows\Memory.dmp file.
Better if you can add some information about the BSOD and the link for this topic in a readme.txt file, compress (zip) together the readme.txt and the Memory.dmp, rename it with a unique name.
Upload it to this anonymous write-only ftp server location: ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming/
Thanks for the quick reply. I’ve uploaded the minidump in a zip.
Which file name?
BSOD aswSnx.sys - topic 85480.zip
I have the same problem. I have uploaded the file to ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming/BSOD aswSnx.sys - 2011-10-26.zip
Please check.
wyattwong, this BSOD wasn’t caused by aswSnx.sys driver (where did you get this information? didn’t you mean other minidump than the one you sent us?)
anyway, 102611-32541-01.dmp says, your computer crashed in network drivers (yk62x64.sys or vpcnfltr.sys driver); if you have other minidumps, please send me them by email (it’s faster for me).
hello there,
i had just received a BSOD and the reason was shown as something related to aswsnx.sys driver this has happened just within the last hour.i am not a good expert on how to upload them on your ftp server. please help. thank you.
Hi,
I have also a BSOD today on aswSnx.sys (on my home PC see the signature below), but the system now seem to be working well
Uploaded to ftp.avast.com/incoming/Mini012512-01.zip
the minidump, (C:\Windows\Memory.dmp not available)
Hope this can help avast team to solve the problem.
Create the zip file as explained in second answer
for uploading just open a directory on your PC and in the adress bar write
ftp.avast.com/incoming/
now just copy the zip and paste in this new window.
If you refresh the page it’s normal that you not see more your pasted file.
