BSOD: page fault in nonpaged area

Hello
I have been the proud user of avast free antivirus for several years and across several different computers.
So the first thing i did when i got my new laptop the other day was ofcourse to install avast and be protected from the getgo.
However, ever since i installed avast on my computer i have BSOD with the message: page fault in nonpaged area happening every other bootup or so.
I have tried factory resetting my laptop, and still the problems persist. I know it is avast causing the issue, as when i disable it on startup there is no problem at all.

Anyone know anything?

Do you have any BSOD dumps?

Did that new computer come with a pre-installed trial version of an Antivirus ???

I’ve seen other people with this error and it has nothing to do with A/V. It had to do with being on an Insiders build. What’s your Windows version?
