Since the last update of Windows 10 I keep having crash (BSOD). Analysis of the dump file (with Whocrashed) points to aswbidsdrivera.sys
I have uninstalled Avast IS, checked all updates and not a crash for 36 h
I reinstalled it (latest version online) and 3h later same problem.
Thank you for your help.

Thanks for the help, so far so good…
You’re welcome.
Acually it has restarted (4 crashes in the last 90 minutes). I have removed and reinstalled Avast IS twice followin the precise instructions. I am still getting crashes caused by aswbidsdrivera.sys (IDS Application Activity Monitor Driver., AVAST Software s.r.o.)
Any help is welcome
See Reply #4.
Thanks but the link points to a 404 error page! Any other link?
Hmmm, the link still works for me…
Anyway, as the FAQ got reworked, try: https://support.avast.com/article/33/
The FAQ page works, but downloading the support tool sends to a 404 page. I have tried using 2 browsers, no luck. Thanks
Thanks, the link works. I have sent the info to support, hope they will be able to help.
You’re welcome.
Sorry to ask but what happens once you send the support file? I did not get contacted and do not find a support page where to use my ticket number…
Thanks
Did you submit a ticket…?
Edit: You could try the latest beta: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=15
hello,
same for me ,
After Upgrading to windows 10 some problems arise
Going through enduring winding way , of windows freezes , windows losses drive access I updated to signed drivers and Windows 10 became stable
.
Still, seems stable , connect to infrastructure , states “connected to the internet” but no IP address or IP information at all! , and connection status for IPV4/IPV6 states “Not Connected”
So, I followed tips about disabling driver signature (bcdedit & F8>F7 at https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/9b6eee60-855d-47cc-9927-acae3fb6f971/permanently-disable-driver-signature-enforcement-on-win-7-x64?forum=w7itprohardware ), followed a tip for driver verifier ( https://samsclass.info/335/335_S09.shtml#projects )that shows problem with NDIS.SYS, but the problem was actually anodlwfx.sys that appears as “ANOD Network Security Filter Driver”.
Once disabled, I have stable connection as I LogOn to windows.
So now logged on to the Forum to try and Post a question abut AVASt drivers signatures to support.
I hope this helped you also in your quest.
I will apreciate your help relaying this message to support personal, or explaning me HowTo
Thanks,

Hi, unfortunately the beta version so far causes the same issues. I have opened a ticket with support, but have not had any news from them so far. Any suggestions? Thanks
