bsod when performing full system scan

hi,

i have just had the same problem.

all i could read from the blue screen before it re-booted was ‘myql more or less equal’(?) . something like that.

my pc has been on for about 20mins since the last time it rebooted. should i perform another full system scan and as soon as it reboots, send you the most recent minidump file, or is it fine to send you the most recent one i have?

how do upload a minidump file to you, as i assume you’re going to ask me to do so?

here’s hoping…

cheers!

Baz.

specs:

intel core 2
OS vista32
6400 @ 2.13GHZ 2.05GHZ
ram 200GB

Hope this helps…

Please, go to folder \windows\minidump and send the newest (recent) .mdmp files for analysis.
There is also C:\Windows\Memory.dmp file.
Better if you can add some information about the BSOD and the link for this topic in a readme.txt file, compress (zip) together the readme.txt and the Memory.dmp, rename it with a unique name.
Upload it to this anonymous write-only ftp server location: ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming/

Disable Automatic Restart:
System Properties > Advanced > [Startup and Recovery]Settings
Remove the checkmark from “Automatically Restart” in the System Failure section.

To generate full dump instead of only kernel (or small dump), see http://www.msfn.org/board/creating-memory-dumps-t130005.html.

cheers for getting back to me, tech,

i’ll get on that asap.

baz.

You’re welcome.
