Matteo

Open avast UI
Menu → settings → general → troubleshooting → uncheck “Enable hardware-assisted virtualization”
Done

you may have to restart your PC after changing this option

Hi,
thanks for your reply.
unlucky i have already did that settings monts ago

you can try to open Event Viewer and copy the error code when BSOD or any problem with your VMware happen

Fortunately for me, I’m using Windows 8.1 and VMware 15.1 everyday without any problem

You can try to disable Windows 10’s hyper-V and windows sandbox because they might conflict with VMware and avast

I am using Virtual Box and started to get the BSOD. The Avast update to 19.6 turned the setting back on. Did you double check to make sure it didn’t get turned back on. This is used by the Avast sandbox which is what made it get reenabled.

Hi Richard677 and pegas0,
would you send us a memory.dmp file for analysis ?

The default location of the dump file is %SystemRoot%memory.dmp i.e C:\Windows\memory.dmp if C: is the system drive. Windows can also capture small memory dumps which occupy less space. These dumps are created at %SystemRoot%Minidump.dmp (C:\Window\Minidump.dump if C: is the system drive)

zip the memory.dmp as pegas0_bsod_7_2019.zip| Richard677_bsod_7_2019.zip and upload it to avast ftp server (https://support.avast.com/en-eu/article/FTP-file-upload)
Thank you for report !
