hi,
yesterday i updated avast to the last version on my windows 10 1903.
after that update every time i turn on a VM on vmware workstation pro 15.1, in few time my system stop with BSOD.
I updated all my system but i still got BSOD every time.
in the end i disabled avast and with surprise, now i’m be able to turn on my VMs
I am using Virtual Box and started to get the BSOD. The Avast update to 19.6 turned the setting back on. Did you double check to make sure it didn’t get turned back on. This is used by the Avast sandbox which is what made it get reenabled.
Hi Richard677 and pegas0,
would you send us a memory.dmp file for analysis ?
The default location of the dump file is %SystemRoot%memory.dmp i.e C:\Windows\memory.dmp if C: is the system drive. Windows can also capture small memory dumps which occupy less space. These dumps are created at %SystemRoot%Minidump.dmp (C:\Window\Minidump.dump if C: is the system drive)
