Snake - To repeat, my Avast AV Free is the same micro-update as yours - it ends with 3761.278. I already have that micro-update.
Cosmics, my old friend - only you have the time-travel super-power to get a micro-update newer than 278. The rest of us will have to wait for the present to reach the future.
And of course you don’t have BSODs - you are Cosmics!
Avast engineers - I suggest you hire Cosmics on special contract - he can fix ANYTHING.
To 1: Right now, you declared it! Now we are on the same level. Ok.
To 2: Yes and we’re close together!
To 3: Nobody would hire Cosmics, for he’ll loose his freedom! And I wan’t agree!!!
The driver that causes the BSODs, aswStmXP.sys, is at version 18.1.3792.0, with a Modified date of Monday, February 12, 2018, 10:23:44 PM and with a digital signature signing time of Wednesday, January 31, 2018 1:46:51 PM.
Asyn, our messages crossed. I’d rather not try a beta - my XP machine is too important. Martin K - please advise. Thanks.
