BubbleUpnp stops streaming after each track

I use BubbleUpnp to stream music to my devices using a Nexus7 as the DLNA controller.
However, when the Nexus goes to sleep the streaming stops because the battery saver has switched off WiFi and lost the connection to the renderer.
I’ve tried using the ‘Keep internet on when music is playing’ but this doesn’t help.
I’ve had to turn Battery Saver off for now.
Any advice on how I can configure this to work properly?
