( BUG ) Avast Sandbox versus Opera browser ( NOT SOLVED )

Hi guys :slight_smile:

I am not sure if I have posted this before somewhere on the forum, but :

The Avast Sandbox is working fine with the Firefox and Tor browser I use, but not with Opera.
Basicly it opens Opera in the Sandbox, but than keeps hanging in the loading screen.

It worked properly before, but that changed around the time the new Avast SafeZone browswer was released.
As both Opera and the SafeZone browser are based on Chromium, I suspect this could have something to do with it ?
Can anyone confirm this ?

Btw. I have no problem with opening Opera in Sandboxie ( other sandboxing software ).

I tried Opera 38.0.2220.31 on my home computer (win10) and it run OK in sandbox, so I wonder - what version of Win and Opera you use?

Are you able to open safezone browser in Banking mode (by clicking on credit card icon in right top corner)?

Running Opera Opera 38.0.2220.31 on WIN 7 x64.

Yes I was able to open SafeZone browser in Banking mode ( never tried that before ) and now Opera runs perfectly well in the Sandbox.
No idea what happened, but thank you for pointing me to this solution :slight_smile:

And after a clean install Opera and the Avast Sandbox are no friends anymore :frowning: ( see screenshot )
