Besides being very slow in general… If you connect to a system with Stardock Fences installed it blows up the remote computers desktop by scattering multiple copies of desktop icons everywhere… try it… it’s fun…
It’s as fast (or shall we say slow) as the slowest upload on the host side. If you have a 20Mb/20Mb optical line and the guy who are you connecting to only has 1Mb/256Kb ADSL line, it will work as fast as their upload permits.
Plus, i have top admit that avast! is using the most compatible mode so they don’t have to deal with specific graphic card issues. It’s not the fastest but it’s the most compatible.
As for the Stardock Fences issue, i have yet to test it.
I have fences…but no one to test ARA with…
Ask me in the afternoon
If you have 2 computers in your home, you can make ARA session yourself. It’s in fact the best way since you see both screens at the same time.
Well…yeah…IF…
I’m here
Ok, so me and Tech have had a go with it (both ways, with fences…)
I saw absolutely no change to fences here, and I don’t think that Tech did either.
As for ARA, now that I have tested it, I think that it is a great, simple addition that will be very useful in the future
Thanks Tech
