[Bug report] SafeZone incorrectly handles URLs starting from http://

[Symptom]
When I try to open URLs starting from http:// via Tools → SafeZone (see attached image), the following URL opens instead of designated URL.

file:///C:/Program%20Files/AVAST%20Software/Avast/sfzone/

This does not occur when I try to open URLs starting from https://.

[Environment]
avast! Internet Security / avast! Premier
Ver. 2014.9.0.2021
Windows 7 SP1

exactly the same thing is happening to me - a month later than the original post - is any fix pending?

Thank you for your confirmation. As far as I know, there is no fix available.

The situation got worsen in latest beta; now even https:// URLs are not opened correctly (just open a blank browser page).
I’ll start a new topic in feedback section.
