On Ubuntu 20.04
Scan works only after reboot wich is anoying (request additional development on my side). Probably the same with 18.04 but doesn’t care.
scan still use only 1 full CPU like 3.0.x.
That’s quite a shame on Linux, can’t you make it more scalable with an option to choose the max CPU usage ?
Hi, the scan
tool, and the scanning engine itself, are basically the same as in 3.x. The engine is being updated regularly via VPS updates (its code is also being updated).
May I ask what is your use case? Are you scanning a single big file (archive?) or a directory? The big-file scan may not fully utilize multiple CPUs, but the directory scan should.
