Bugs with the Free new Avast version 5

Hi,
I’m working on Windows XP 32 bit. All updates done.
I install the new Free version 5 yesterday
Look nice however I see many bugs and I am returning back to version 4
Bugs:
When I ask my firewall to block everything and I restart my PC, Avast show the Attention! mark on the task bar icon. OK like version 4. When I open Avast I see in Summary, Current Status Real Time Shied OFF.
When I change my firewall status to normal Avast doesn’t change. I tried the FIX NOW,Turn ON and nothing change.
Why the Real Time Shields is off (not only web and email shield)
Why it can not be re-activate?
PS> Also, why it is so complex to email you? Just trying to find a way to send a email to Avast, it take 5 minutes.

What firewall do you use and why do you set it to block everything on boot. This bug with Avast! 5 Free Antivirus hs been around for a few users(I have not been affected by it, Thank God!). You should try to stop and start each shield manually and you will see that the Status bar finally says: Real-Time Shields: ON. This is the only way to solve this problem.

I immediately found a bug upon installing this stupid thing!! I installed avast! 5 on my Toshiba NB305 notebook, running Windows 7 Starter Edition. Then I registered the software. Fine, it’s now registered. BUT, it still keeps popping up the registration dialog when I open the program, even though it knows that I’m registered! WTF.

Maybe it needed just a wee bit more final testing prior to release…?

UPDATE: I ran a full scan of the hard drive, and the registration dialog no longer pops up. Strange.
