:o Just got a question… I’m a avid watcher of Bugtraq’s and stuff like that… I was wondering does this vulnerability affect the avast home free edition? if so… will there be a patch for this?

As the Bugtraq article says, a new (fixed) version has already been released (build 665). So, make sure you are using the latest version and you don’t have to worry about it.
