Business Console dead

I was doing some maintenance on a couple workstations through the console, running some on demand scans and all the sudden my console dies and throws all these errors at me, so I shutdown the service and restart it. Came back up, but license file was gone, so I inserted my license file and restarted the service, still nothing. Any ideas? not sure what to do from here.

could you please specify which console and what version do you use? What exactly happens when you insert the license into the console? Do you have avast! client installed on the computer, where the console runs?

Received no response from Avast on my ticket, so I blew up my current install and re-installed the server. I went to the Enterprise Protection Suite, licensed installed fine but the server does not recognize any workstation that has avast installed. Looks like my clients just updated to ver. 7, does enterprise work with version 7? Cant find any documentation on the enterprise side, just SOHO.

the EPS that you installed deploys v7 of the clients. So yes it works with that version.

Maybe it needs a while before the clients report to the server.
You can try a redeploy from the EPS console, then your sure you have the right client too

I gave it awhile, several hours and got nothing. I gave up and went back to the SOHO, I certainly do not wan to go and re-deploy to 110 workstations!! Why does Avast not have any documentation on this?

both SOA and EA support v7 clients. On the other hand, you cannot deploy clients with one console (SOA) and then connect them to the other one (EA). During the manual installation of the client, you can select, which console connector do you want to install. When client is installed using the deployment from the console, only the appropriate connector is being installed. You would have to re-deploy your clients from the new console to get them working.
