I have installed Business Protection Plus Administration Console on a Windows 2003 SBS. I have been unable to install the client on the server. The install process starts but then the install window disappears and the product never gets installed.
Any idea what I can check/change to install the client software?
Thank you. I didn’t realize there was a separate server version. I downloaded and it installed fine. The client version never gave me an error message, it just didn’t work.
On a related note, when I look at the admin console under the Network options, all computers are visible but only the server is showing as connected to the console. I installed the clients manually on the workstations but how do I connect them to the console for monitoring and administration?
I originally had issues with the console so I couldn’t deploy. That is why I did a stand-alone install on the workstations. The filename is avast_managed.exe.
